Zambian singer and one of Mvesesani .com’s best-selling artist for 2017, Kiki has released the much anticipated visual to the title track of her debut EP called “Catch Me” which served as an introduction to her sound as she warmed up for more upcoming efforts.
The Ufulu Films produced flick is set in a cafe, railway and an empty warehouse where the concept of a couple expressing a love story was highlighted through contemporary dance choreographed by Namaala Liebenthal of ‘Zoca Dance’ and performed by Frank Sinyangwe & Diana Caceres.
The video is currently at 3,000+ views & climbing on YouTube and has been playing on National TV networks including ZNBC (Born & Bred), Qtv, Diamond TV & Fresh TV.
Since the launch of her career, Kiki has worked with several Zambia’s best performing acts such as James Sakala, Cactus Agony, Chef 187, Cleo Ice Queen, Kanji, Kreative Nativez and mostly her regular collaborator – Mag44, plus more.
She is scheduled to perform at this year’s Stanbic Music Festival for the 3rd time, to open for Brian McKnight & Joe, alongside an all-female (dubbed amorably by Stanbic “Anakazi”) line up with Salma, Wezi & Esther Chungu. Through the previous Stanbic Music Festivals, Kiki opened for International acts; Hugh Masekela in 2013 & Earl Klugh in 2015.
