Lusaka Province Minister “Bowman Lusambo” earlier today on featured on a radio program on which he uttered quite Insensitive remarks about the unfortunate demise of award winning singer “David Phiri” Popularly known as “Daev Zambia”. The minister who was asked to empower Zambian musicians by the radio presenter said Daev Zambia died because of his careless driving.
Mr. Lusambo said he was from Chirundu the day the tragic incidence took place and he witnessed what exactly happened. He further said when it comes to empowering Local musicians, he is already doing that as he is close to most of them.
These remarks didn’t sit well with many Zambians online including XYZ Entertainments Founder Slapdee who responded via his Facebook page. “Too soon Mr. Minister…too soon. That’s all I can say. Relax your tongue sir. One day your words will bite you..” part of his post reads.

Daev Zambia passed on 27th September, 2020 in a tragic road accident which also claimed the lives of 4 of his entourage. Among the people who died in the same accident was Producer “K-Man“.
