They are known for hosting the famous elite events such as the Penthouse Parties and The Lusaka July, but they are usually not so far from controversy.
Just recently they were informed that the South African Media Personality that they planned on inviting for the 2019 Lusaka July as special guest (Somizi Mhlongo) would be turned back because he is a homosexual, a decision they came to understand for the sake of national peace as discussed in a press briefing with Minister of Guidance and Religious Affairs, Rev. Godfridah Sumaili.
However, during an interview with Chimweka on Diamond TV‘s On The Table show, PR Girl Media Co-Founder, Monde Nyambe described Zambia as a Christian Nation to some extent limiting the arts industry as it divides people based on their respective ambiguous interpretations of religion. She further expressed how she feels something as personal as religion should not be personal.
On the other hand, Monde’s sister and also PR Girl Media Co-Founder, Chishimba Nyambe revealed how socialite Iris Kaingu is welcome to the 2019 Lusaka July just as she was last year. This came up after Chimweka asked her about their back and forth argument on Twitter. Chishimba described their Twitter war as a genuine misunderstanding and not a publicity stunt.
This year’s special guest appearance to replace Somizi is former Big Brother Africa housemate, Pokello.
