HipHop artiste “Macky 2” and RnB Superstar “Roberto” have bagged nominations at this year’s “All Africa Music Awards” (AFRIMA). The 2 Giant Zambian Music stars will be representing Zambia at the award ceremony to be held in Nigeria this year.
Macky 2 has been nominated in the category for “Best Male In Africa Inspirational Music” for his song “Umutima Wandi” which features Ephraim and “Njamba”. He is competing against big names on the continent such as “Falz” and Sarkodie.
Roberto also boasts an award nomination at this year’s AFRIMA for his song “Contolola” which features “Patoranking”. He has been nominated in the category for “Best Male Group In Africa Reggae & Dancehall”. He shares the category with Patoranking, Burna Boy, Sauti Sol, Shatta Wale and Diamond Platinumz.
