PR Girl Media to donate 10% of the Lusaka July proceeds to women and girls who have been highly affected by the Corona virus pandemic.
Speaking at a media briefing Monde and Chishimba said the 5th edition of one of Zambia’s biggest fashion shows which is also sometimes dubbed as the Zambian Met Gala will go on as scheduled on 25th July but under the new normal. They have advised all attendants to wear masks.
They have also made a number of adjustments to the usual Lusaka July mentioning that they will be no polo this year but the guests will still be entertained by something else, also social distancing is going to be observed at all levels while still trying to make the event entertaining.
However other activities like fashion showcasing and music will go on as usual.
Lusaka mayor Miles Sampa has been appointed as brand ambassador for the event speaking at the same media briefing the mayor said he is in full support of the Lusaka July taking place especially with the fact that they are donating some proceeds to charity and has advised other businesses to come on board and support too.
The theme for this year’s Lusaka July is “Polo in Yellow” hence guests are expected to dress up in yellow.
