Bobby East and XYZ Win Big at “Kwacha Music Awards 2018”

Sun FM‘s spearheaded prestigious “Kwacha Music Awards” finally took place yesterday (29th September 2018) after suffering backlash and boycotts from artistes especially the nominees. This year’s award ceremony was held at “Mulungushi International Centre” and thunderous event was full of cheers and awe.

However, this year’s award wins were mainly dominated by “Bobby East” and his label “XYZ Entertainments“. The “Versace Shirt” hit-maker managed to scoop awards in all the categories he was nominated. Bobby East awards in the categories for “Song Of the Year“, “Best Artiste Lusaka”, “Best Collaboration” and “Best HipHop Song“. His label mates Slapdee and Mr. Starsh also won awards for “Best Male Artiste” and “Best Sound Production” respectively. Nez Long who is also an XYZ Entertainments affiliated artiste also won an award for “Best New Comer Male“.

The award ceremony also saw music giants such as Macky 2 walk away with 2 awards for “Best Mainstream” and “Album of The Year”. B’Flow also won awards for “International Achievement” while T-low scooped ” Best RnB Song“.

Bobby East was never nominated for last year’s Edition and it seems the rapper had his luck this time around.
