Zambezi Magic is set to premier a brand new Zambian drama series titled ” Amooye ” tonight at 21:30.
Amooye tells the stories of three women: Wiza, Noni and Muta who are in their late twenties and early thirties as they try to figure out their careers, friendships and romantic relationships. The storyline also explores the intricacies and challenges of being an African woman living and working within the realms of an evolving society.
Zambezi Magic is said to be equally excited to be working alongside major players within the content curation space, namely: Stephanie Dale who is no stranger to the channel. Most would remember Dale from the successful show, Tizibika that aired in 2019 which was directed by the equally talented Toyza Botah. Jones Nasilele (one of the directors on Ubuntu), Angel Sikumarie, former producer at Muvi TV as well as Leelee Ngwenya, Breakfast Show host on Fresh TV are also amongst the team that will be directing the show. Pheeha also pointed out that Zambezi Magic will be working alongside well-known as well as up and coming talented cast that are sure to keep viewers glued to their screen throughout the season.
