The Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM) has disapproved Pilato’s “Koswe Mumpoto” song in a statement released by it’s president today “Njoya Tembo“.
The association president said that the song is a violation of the freedom of expression of music.
“ZAM finds the song too politically vindictive, judgmental and one that fosters character assassination, political hostility and division in the country.” Reads part of the Statement.
Therefore ZAM has denounced and distanced itself from the song and expressed disappointment in Pilato.
However it has encouraged it’s members to continue commenting on political matters with full citizen responsibility, professional objectivity and mutual respect for everyone.
