Tendai Maswiswi who was known as Soosh Matix was a hip hop artist/producer/writer/radio dj who brought his individual style to create a new type of sound in African Hip hop. Experienced in production as well as performing, having been part of a local hip hop collective for about 8 years in Zimbabwe before he moved to Zambia to pursue a career in Radio Presentation.
Soosh was based in Lusaka, Zambia and worked for Hot 87.7 fm which is a private radio station as a radio deejay also as a club deejay and emcee. Tendai was affiliated to the most respected crew in Zambia (XYZ). For a throw back Thursday we give you “CLOSE YOUR EYES” a cover song thats an insight into the mind of a poet, philosopher and father. Tendai died in 2011 after being involved in an accident.
