Influential Music act and Alpha Entertainment Boss “Macky 2” has received social media backlash and criticism for campaigning for Votes in the forthcoming Kwacha Music Awards. The rapper has been nominated in the categories for “Best Humanitarian Award”, “Best Mainstream Song (Favour) and Best Male Artist.
Few years ago Macky 2 criticized and Boycotted “Zambian Music Awards’” (ZMA) for paying awards small amount of money he termed “Peanuts”. Whether true or not, this led to Mosi pulling off as main show sponsors and since then future of the Biggest Award Show remains a Mystery. It hasn’t been established how much the winners will be awarded in the forthcoming “Kwacha Music Awards‘ but information reaching our team is that there could be little or no money at all.
Macky 2 is being Criticized for Campaigning for votes in the forthcoming Kwacha Music Awards which seem to be less funded than the “ZMA” he boycotted. The Critics are all over social media including on the rapper’s official facebook page where he announced his nomination and asked his fans to vote for him.
