Multi-award winning HipHop artiste “Mwila Musonda” popularly known as “Slapdee” recently featured on “Money FM” on which he disclosed the mount he spent on his “Lituation” project. The rapper revealed he spent about K300 000 in total on the project.
Slapdee narrates he had to fly “Patoranking” from Germany where he was on tour in Business Class at about $7000 to South Africa. He also had to fly his Manager from Lagos to Lusaka at about K11 000 return ticket.
For the music video, he paid “Justin Campose” about $8000 just for directing and producing it. The rapper also talked about the importance of selling music on digital platforms during the Interview.
He further emphasizes that local artistes need to paid enough for them to sustain and make quality content. Listen to the Interview below!
