The Queen Diva Mampi and Roberto have been nominated for the Hipipo music awards which will this year be co-presented by Afromusicpop in the categories Africa Best Female artist for Mampi and best song from the Southern Africa for Robert’s“ Into you”.
Other artists nominated in Mampi’s category include Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade from Nigeria, Babes Wadumo from South Africa, Daphne from Cameroon, Josey from Ivory coast , MzVee from Ghana, Sheebah karungi from Uganda, Vanessa Mdee from Tanzania and Victoria Kimani from Kenya.
Whereas other nominees in Roberto’s category include AKA for the song Caiphus, Babes Wadumo for Umngan’wami, C4 Pedro for vou ter saudades, Cassper Nyovest for the Tito Mboweni, Mafikizolo for Love portion, Nasty C for NDA, Shekhinah for Suited, Kwesta ft Wale for Spirit and Jah Prayzah featuring Mafikizolo for sendekera.
This will be the 6th edition of these prestigious awards and they are scheduled to take place on 17th march 2018 in Kampala Uganda.
