Retired HipHop artiste “Macky2” and his sister “Towela Kaira” have bagged themselves nominations at this year’s AFRIMMA. The 2 siblings are the only Zambian artistes to be nominated at this year’s AFRIMMA awards.
Towela Kaira has been nominated in the category for BEST FEMALE SOUTHERN AFRICA. The singer who won an award for the same category last year has been nominated alongside the likes of Dj Zhinle, Tamy Moyo, Makhadzi, Sha Sha, Mpho Sebina, Tyala and Nadia Nakai.
Macky 2 on the other hand has been nominated In the category for BEST MALE SOUTHERN AFRICA and is going against the likes of Costa Titch, Dj Tarico, Dj Maphorisa, AKA, Sjava, Han C among others. King Bugar is yet to win this prestigious award despite several nominations of the years.
