Zambia’s Top Music acts and HipHop heavyweights Macky 2 & Slapdee on Monday gave their fans a Historic Face off on Instagram. The former rivals went live on the social media platforms and played their songs one at time categorically.
The much anticipated competitive Face off took place at Exactly 20hrs on Monday (1st April). Among the songs played during the face off were Banono, Lituation, Declare, Nomba Ninshi, Nangu Banchinge, Kuichaila, Remember among other hits. Macky 2 also used the opportunity teased unreleased song during the live feed.
During the Live broadcast, both multi-award winning acts took turns appreciating each other’s good craft. They also both revealed how their fans put pressure on them each time one of them releases an amazing song or a music video. Macky 2 disclosed were pestering him to also drop an International collaborative song when Slapdee‘s Lituation Featuring Patoranking dropped.
The quarantine Face off was a strategic Initiative to entertain their fans amid the Covid-19 Pandemic which has led to the enforcement of ‘Social Distancing.’
