Killer Beats (KB) who is also the CEO of Nexus Music Entertainments Ltd few days ago set the record straight on why his label has only signed established artistes. The Veteran producer and Music Executive answered the most asked question ever since Both Nexus Music and Kalandanya Music Promotions were launched.
According to KB, the move is business motived as the label has to start with marketable artistes first in order to sustain itself. He further pointed out that new brands (artistes) will then follow up later on.

Kalandanya Music Promo and Nexus Music which are currently the biggest record labels in the country have been under fire for signing only established artistes. Kalandaya Music Promo is the home to the likes of Macky2, Rich Bizzy, Slapdee, Bobby East, Mampi etc while Nexus Music has signed Izrael & Nalu, Abel Chungu, Chef 187, Towela, Afunika etc.
