Imani Elkanah Chifunda is a fast uprising Zambian Hip Hop artist born and bred on the Copperbelt. He is the first born in his family raised by a single mother who he says has played a big role on everything he turned out to be.
Imani fell in love with music as early as the age of 12, he had an uncle who was an artist and a lyricist he drew inspiration from there.
He completed his secondary education in 2014 at Lusaka West secondary School, there after he started learning more about the art of music.
He released his first official single on 10th June 2020 the song is entitled “Fireflow” it features FJay and it is produced by Kid Xoldier with its visuals loading. He draws major inspiration from multi award winning Hip Hop Artiste Macky 2 who is currently mentoring him.
Aside from music he works with Ificon a purchasing and supply company as a distributor and he is also an assistant manager at a store found at Lewanika mall which sales shoes and some Saka branded mechadise.
Imani intends to build a fan base and release more music and also work with more established artists.
