The category is for “Album of the Year” and the albums are nominated are “Amnesia” by Chef 187, Giovanni by Jae Cash, BW2 by Slapdee, RED by Tiye-P, Flowers and Dweet by T-Boy. Dweet by T-Boy on the other hand is a mixture of afrop-pop, Danceahall, RnB sound competing with albums by HipHop artist.
Recently, BW2, Amnesia, RED, Flowers, Giovanni have been the most Debatable on social media with every HipHop fan crowning “The Best HipHop Album” of their Choice. Voting for Kwacha Music Awards has since started and the awarding ceremony will be conducted on 30th September.
