Kopala’s Swag HipHop artiste Chef 187 has warned all Show promoters to desist from using his name (Brand) in order to lure people to attend Shows he hasn’t signed up for. This is reported to have been triggered after an incident at Unza where the emcee failed to show up despite being publicized as the main act. This lead to patrons at the event to boycott.
Below is what the rapper wrote on his Facebook page;
Dear promoters,
I ask that you refrain from using my name to promote your events if you haven’t confirmed anything with me or my management. I also ask that you refrain from running any adverts involving the Chef 187 brand unless natumfwana. Let’s help the industry grow by respecting each others brands. Let’s not force each other into taking drastic measures just to protect our brands.
