Biography: Massy



Tabo Masinda popularly known as Massy is a female rapper born on 25th June 1994. Born as a second last child in a family of eight now seven where she has one sister and six brothers.
She coined the name Massy from her last name Masinda. Her passion for music was inspired by her brothers who loved listening to rap music and some ventured into music as well.
She first started doing music in a group of three in which she was the only girl, it was through the group that she discovered she could rap. After finishing her secondary education at St Johns secondary school in Mongu Massy ventured into music professionally. She has done songs like Tears on the wall, Want you back, Reasons, vikaliko, mine among others.
Massy has worked with various big names in the industry like Stevo, Fjay, Ben Da Fure, J Mafia, Elisha among others.
Apart from music Massy was pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mass Communication from the University of Zambia, she completed last year (2018). She is passionate about the media, she started radio presenting at a young age at Liseli radio under the Liseli radio fun club and during her time at Unza she sometimes casted news for Unza radio.
