Besta Phiri is Popularly known as “Valentine”, a character name from the role he plays in the famous and much loved, first ever Zambian telenovela, ZUBA.
His musical talent is what saw him scoop the auditions for the role.
Besta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, and a certificate in digital marketing.
Apart from acting and singing, he is also a writer (feature articles, songs and film scripts) has written feature articles for Times of Zambia, film scripts for MPTV and other stations, and also writes all songs he sings in the telenovela.
As we role down into February, a month of Love, Besta wishes all lovers a Happy new month and Valentine’s in advance and has dedicated a song to all lovers. It’s called ” Moment”a sweet melody spiced with nice vocals.. If you’re want a new song you can dedicate to him/her this year, ” Moment ” is the song for you.
