Voting has since commenced in the First ever Kwacha Music Awards spearheaded by Sun FM. Unlike other Music awards, Kwacha Music Awards will provide recognition to Artists in all Provinces of the country.
The nominations for the awards began Late June and were only done through the local participating radio stations countrywide. With speculations about Zambian Music Awards not taking Place, Kwacha Music Awards can be seen as a better replacement since it provides recognition to a broader spectra of artists countrywide.
The awards has more than 20 Categories and bigger names in the industry are already popping up in multiple categories. Voting commenced on 15th August and the award ceremony will be held on 30th September, 2017 at Mulungushi International Conference center.
