Award winning South Province Act, King Illest has finally opened up about his misunderstanding with XYZ Entertainment founder, Slapdee.
The rapper also referred to as the King of the South featured on Diamond TV’s On The Table with Chimweka Chileshe where he explained how Slapdee asked him for a feature but eventually decided to charge him for it, a situation King Illest described as a “low blow”.
The “Ba Cheende” hit maker also defended the relevance and importance of the provincial awards at the Kwacha Music Awards which he’s been a beneficiary of, despite some people’s calls for it to be done away with because of having the same artistes winning even after a bad year musically with artistes like Chimz Kelly being mentioned as an example.
