Budding HipHop Artiste “Umusepela Chile” today dropped his first single “Face to Face” ft. Jay Rox under Headphone Music and it already has people talking. On the record, the emcee takes aim at self-proclaimed leaders of the new wave and also schools the industry.
Chile starts off by warning fellow new rappers about being careful otherwise they will end up crying foul like current big artists. He further jabs self proclaimed new wave artistes for allegedly focusing much on social media clout. The rapper doesn’t mention names but repeatedly talks about the state of the new wave and industry politics throughout.
He also raps about piracy in the industry and how some artists pirate their own music and then later try to sale their content. Chile also emphasizes on the need for artistes to push for royalties. The rapper also vows to remain vocal despite being signed to a major label.
