In the latest episode of Hi-5 show hosted on QTV by DJ Showstar, HipHop artiste “Tiye-P” set the record straight by strictly categorizing the album released by Zambian HipHop artists this year so far. This subsequently followed after DJ Showstar asked him the rate the HipHop albums for this year. According to “Mwana Wa Nyirenda“, his RED album is the only outstanding Hip-Hop project at the moment because most albums released this year do not qualify to be considered hiphop despite being done by HipHop artists. He gave an example of Amnesia album by Chef 187 which he called “Urban Project” with “Kalindula” and BW2 by Slapdee which is also not HipHop. Among other albums he considered not HipHop are Flowers by Dope G and Lusaka by Jay Rox.
However, Tiye-P rated the albums regardless and placed his on the first position followed by Amnesia and then finally BW2. Tiye-P wrapped up the interview with dope freestyle.
