One of Zambia’s commercial magazine called “The Movement Magazine” recently launched their March Edition of the “Grand Issue”. The edition features so many interesting Local Entertainment articles and celebrities. The Magazine also features a write up about “King Illest” who is labelled “Leader Of The New Wave”.
While the title can be disputed by some fans especially HipHop heads, King Illest remains one of a few artistes seating at the front of the new wave movement. His Branding, authentic style, and the music have enabled him to win the support of a many music lovers than any other New Wave artiste in the game.
The rapper has delivered the most classic Music Videos in Zambia more than any new wave artiste and even some well older artistes. He recently become the first artiste to be endorsed by Ballantine Africa.
Other new wave artists who seem to be pushing the movement and dominating include “Kunkeyani The Jedi”, The Fake, Cinori XO, Akar and many more.
