Sun FM has just revealed the nominees list for this year’s Kwacha Music Awards and the internet is already going nuts. With so many categories as usual, this year’s nominees list seems to be somehow balancing.
One of the most talked about Category is that of “Best HipHop Song” and this year’s list features some powerful typical HipHop rap songs unlike Dancehall Rap songs which were heavily criticized the previous years. The category features New Day by Slapdee, I Forgive You by Bobby East, Tuleya Tulekula by Chef 187, Final Form by Sampa The Great, Do it by Pompi & Mag44, Ba Cheende by King Illest, Money Gang by Chanda Mbao and My Diary Part 7 by KB.
This one of the highly contested category and the fact that HipHop is a competitive genre makes this battle even tight.
