Zambian singer “Shimpanzi” is reported to have passed on after an illness. The gifted artiste is known for his hit song “Campaign” featuring late P-Jay almost a decade ago. He also wrote the song “Bushe Ndine N’gona” by Uncle Jah and went to record “Nizonda Mwenikukondela” among other songs.
Although his career has been dim over the recent years without much commercial success, Shimpanzi continued to release music. He frequently collaborated with many uprising musicians who were blessed to learn a lot from a veteran like him.
His contribution to the music Industry will be greatly missed by many. Many artistes online have since expressed their deepest sorrow.
