Top Notch Zambian Record Label “Nexus Music Entertanments” today came under fire after sidelining Singer Neo Slayer’s Single “Back To Sender” which was released yesterday. The Label, which has been accused of favoritism with artistes on their roaster, ignored Neo’s song and diverted all their attention to Yo Maps.
Both Neo Slayer and Yo Maps released their new singles yesterday, which were to be accompanied by music videos. However, only Yo Map’s Mr. Romantic Music video was premiered on YouTube yesterday without a mention of Neo Slayer’s “Back To Sender” which led to the singer posting only the audio.
The unfortunate situation was noticed by Neo Slayer’s fans who slammed the Nexus Music page with all kind of backlash. The label has since admitted their wrong has promised to release the music video for “Back to Sender” soon.
Few weeks ago, F-jay publicly accused Nexus Music of favoring artistes who are trending instead of treating every artiste equally. According to Fumbani who group “Urban Hype” is signed under the label, this is the sole reason why Chef 187, KB, T-sean and others left Nexus Music.
