Award winning HipHop artiste “Mainga Mukando” popularly known as “King Illest” has embarked on a mission to support and push fellow new wave rappers in the country. The rapper who has managed to establish himself as one of the most celebrated rappers in the country and the pioneer of Tonga Trap Hip Hop has noticed the importance of unity in the industry.
To make his agenda come to life, the rapper has been inviting fellow new wave rappers at his gigs to perform. King Illest has since brought out Chanda Mbao, Martian & Bombshell at his most recent shows.
“I will be bringing out new cats on my sets everywhere i go to help them get exposure..” He told Zed Hype Mag’s Abraham in a conversation.
King Illest has established himself as an outstanding artiste and brand Influencer in the country. With just a few notable years in the industry, the rapper has managed to become the face of “Ballentines Wine“. He recently scooped an award for “Best Artiste Southern Province”.
