Happy K born as Happy Kabanda is a Zambian artist born in 1994, as a second child in a family of 2.
He coined his stage name Happy K from his birth names by getting his first name and combining it with the first letter of his last name. He started doing professional music in 2009 under Alpha Entertainments studios with Macky 2.
In 2011 he released a hit single called keep on trying featuring Chef 187. Over the years he has worked with big names in the industry including Jae Cash, Drimz, Macky 2, Yo maps among others.
In 2018 he won “Best artist Muchinga Province” and he used this achievement to give back to his community by contributing to different Charity homes in Muchinga province. Apart from music Happy K works for Patvee investments clearing company. The company also manages his music.
He has worked on some new projects this year which includes Chalo chiwama nawako featuring Yo maps and Drimz. He is also set to release a new song and video soon called my soup dede which features Chef 187 and Coziem.
