Alpha Entertainments signed rapper “Drifta Trek” today came under fire for allegedly trying to exploit local graphic designers. The rapper who is on the verge of dropping a mixtape took it to Facebook to call on local Graphic designers to make submission for the Cover Art.
According to the post, the rapper would select the best submission and work with the Designer for the Cover. Unfortunately, his post wasn’t received well as he suffered major backlash from graphic designers and his followers alike.
“The same way you would like to be paid for your time is the same way you need to pay designers otherwise no one worthwhile will submit anything to you… Stop playing with peoples professions.” One user wrote
“Don’t love free things chi dilifuta put something that will make them do something good not vau best designer only atlis a sum of 600 or onepofive.” another user wrote
The incidence has even led to some designers making trolling Edited pictures.
