Multi-award winning HipHop artiste & Lyricist “Chef 187” dropped a surprise freestyle song called “Pre-season Freestyle” and the record has everybody talking. The Copperbelt rapper spits heavy bars on the “Tonny Breezy” produced song as he redefines his position in the HipHop circle.

On the record, the rapper name drops legendary producer and K-Amy CEOKiller Beats(KB) who failed to sign him to this label during his come-up. Chef 187 claims KB was blinded by “Alpha Romeo” who he had given the spotlight and effort and hence couldn’t sign him. This is a confirmation to KB‘s Words on “My Diary Part 3” which featured “Chef 187” who regretted not signing him.

“”KB ngali nsigne I was right there, blinded na Alpha.” He raps on the song.

This line is mistakenly considered as a Shot at the legendary producer by many fans but ZHM learns the duo do not have any bad blood. Hence it’s just mere factual lyrics. The rapper also takes a time to respond to those sending diss songs at him. He also claims that the diss songs are not worthy replying and hence he isn’t clapping back at any. The lyrical Joe Mbuzi doesn’t end there but also throws jaw dropping metaphoric bars as claims to be “Local” but still being the “Missing Key”

Chef 187 continues to make waves with only singles this year having released his 3rd studio “Amnesia” late 2016 which is still getting some playbacks. “Pre-Season Freestyle” becomes his third effort this year and a follow up to “January Blues (G-Eazy Cover)“, and “Single For The Night“.
