XYZ Entertainments CEO and Rapper “Bobby East” yesterday debuted his new Instagram Live Series called “Behind The Verse“. In the live feed, the Chunga emcee explains the thought process during song writing particularly verses for his songs and those he featured on.

In the kick off episode, The Daywalker took time to explain what it was like to write his verse on “I Declare” By Macky 2 which also features Chester on the Hook. He first noted his verse was heavily criticized as off concept but the rapper insisted he was actually on point.

Bobby East Explained his verse was inspired by Macky 2′s major earlier hit called “2010” and judging from the Intro, the rapper thought “I Declare” was a continuation of the song when he received the hook and beat. This led him to imitate Macky2’s flow from back in the day.

Several weeks later when the song dropped, Bobby East also confirmed on Twitter that his verse was a way of paying homage to Macky 2. Check Relating article Here
