Jay Matty is a rap artist born in 1996 Lusaka, Zambia. The rapper grew up on the Copperbelt and later Luapula Province where he did most of is Education.
Music Background
Jay Matty started music at the age of 9 and was inspired by the legendary Nas. He later turned the talent into a profession back in high school where him and Jay Do created a duo Rap group called The Ark Nation which is currently the best Luapula music Duo ever. The duo group has been signed to record labels like M Touch Music ,Mad Box Entertainment but are now currently working has independent artists.
The rapper has brought out a new inspirational type of hip-hop referred to as Cultured HipHop which has brought outstanding tracks like Confession which took the number 1 sport in Luapula (LP) music for 3 consecutive months and part of Northen province like Kasama and this has proved to that the rapper can be one of the most outstanding artist in Zambia.
