African Australian actor John K-AY has initiated a charity for Burundian Refugees .
“I am starting a charity to help less fortunate ,for the start we will be in Burundi and we will be visiting schools , hospitals and orphanages ,I was born in the poorest country I know how life is in such situation thats why I was motivated in starting out a charity initiative.”
The award winner of influential African Australian actor says ,him being brought up in Burundi and more so in a refugee camp has catalysed his action of giving back to the society.
John K-ay would however be hosting the event in his capacity as an actor, when we asked for his 2 cents on Burundi politics and the ongoing political activities that has often escalated causing protest ,he shunned answering .Noting that he has directed his energy entirely on the noble cause of giving back to the community.
