HipHop recording artiste “Alpha Romeo” today set social media ablaze after he complained about the fairness of the Presidential Empowerment Fund. Last week, the Government through National Arts Council announced the Shortlisted arts related Businesses to benefit from the Initiative.
The total money to be disbursed as Loans to support the shortlisted Entities is worth K33 Million Kwacha and the money was officially handed over this week. Unfortunately this didn’t sit well with the Lusaka based rapper who has been left out. Alpha Romeo decided to take to social media to air out his displeasure after seeing pictures of his fellow artistes collecting Cheques.
In his Facebook post, The Life Ya New Hitmaker wondered why others are collecting the money while others are not. Its not clear if at all the rapper also applied for a loan or he wasn’t aware during that time. One thing for sure is he has lost out and he isn’t pleased.
